Coachbuilding Apprenticeships and Training Programmes

Here at Kiwi Bus Builders, we have made a number of progressional changes throughout the company and training is no exception. Kiwi Bus Builders are very committed to creating opportunities for new staff who have successfully demonstrated potential throughout their 3 month probation period. Such staff members that fit these criteria have options to choose between a number of different training programs within Kiwi Bus Builders on-job training program.

Kiwi Bus Builders have two staff members on site that are qualified training assessors. This is very helpful for all apprentices to be able to have this guidance and experience “on tap” to help complement the “on-job” training and marking of assignments.

N.Z.Q.A. standards network

All apprenticeships and training agreements offered by Kiwi Bus Builders are from N.Z.Q.A. standards network, and delivered by approved industry training organizations. Kiwi Bus Builders use the services of Motor Industry Training Organisation (MITO); Apprentice Training NZ; Modern Apprentices: Competnz; and Edvance NZ.

Coachbuilding Apprenticeships

Some training agreements are full “Coachbuilding” apprenticeships which equates to around 4 trades in one Certificate and approximately 4 years to complete. Others are mechanical Engineering, Heavy Metal Fabrication (varying levels), Light Fabrication (varying levels), Business Management (varying levels), Certificates in Health & Safety and Literacy Training.

Do you see yourself working here?
